STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS | TEASER TRAILER
I am not ashamed to say it – I actually cried seeing the Millennium Falcon, I gulped in air and lost all control of emotional stability. When you spend your young life addicted to Star Wars and have seen them all well over one hundred times when something new and exciting arrives from the Universe you turn into Sheldon Cooper at Comicon.
The teaser trailer from J.J. Abrams’ STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS gives enough so that you know you are in the Star Wars universe and enough new stuff to let you know it is new.
It has everything.

The trailer appears to have been made very subtly to give you enough nostalgia and new to whet your appetite and now, like a J.J. film we will get a new taste every month for the next bloody YEAR until it releases in December 2015 and then explodes the internet. Just like this morning in Australia and in the evening in the U.S when the internet literally broke.
Does that X-Wing fighter pilot look like Wedge?

Enjoy it, a new R unit that sits on a ball that rolls, a good guy in a stormtrooper uniform, one kick ass, anti Christian lightsaber, the X-Wings over water, and that scene with the Millennium Falcon = JIZZ!!! The world literally spins in true J.J. visual framing – I did not see any lens flare so for the haters, this will make them happier :). I would have liked to have seen C3PO or R2 in there!
I do not know what to say, it delivered everything I wanted, but Star Wars will effect everyone differently, most won’t give a shit but for the true lovers of the universe – we are in for a treat come December 2015. Enjoy!
My take on Star Wars is its generational, I was 15 when the first came out and loved them, when the first trilogy came out I was involved with a woman who had 2 kids 10 and 8 and they loved them now these will be for the next generation imo
I just hope Social Media doesn’t spoil them
So when SW came out you were dating a woman with 2x kids? LOL. Do you mean “when the prequels came out”?
the first trilogy meaning Ep 1-3 🙂
I’ve always wondered getting 2 people who have never seen these films show one of them how it was released in the cinema and show the other numerical order and if it would alter their opinion
Darth being Luke and Leia’s father would be “no surprise”
Funny story – when they re-released the originals with special edition status into cinemas I went to see Empire for like the third or forth time with a huge group of my friends – there were about 20 of us. Mel, a friend of the group, burst out “OMFG Darth is his father, WTF?” the entire cinema on the floor crying with laughter 🙂
I can only speak for Melbourne, but when Star Wars first came out in 1977 it stayed at Hoyts Cinema Centre in the city which had 3 cinemas for over a year I remember the print ad in the papers
I dislike the opening or Empire over the years but love the rest of the film and love the opening of Jedi and thought the rest of the film was averageBit more trivia you may or may not know David Lynch was in talks to direct Return of the Jedi what a mind fuck that would’ve been
